Receive or reject
Scan to receive; reject with a reason, which creates a recollection order and a non-conformance entry.
Results and flags
46-test catalogue with age and sex reference ranges, critical limits, delta checks, panels and calculated eGFR, LDL and A/G ratio. Each lab sets its own ranges.
Verify and release
A different person verifies; the pathologist releases with an e-signature. Amended reports keep versions and print “AMENDED”.
Quality control
Control lots, Levey-Jennings charts and Westgard rules. A failed QC run blocks verification until corrective action.
Analyser import File import today
Results from ASTM E1394 files or CSV, matched by sample ID and analyser code. A live serial / network link through the Sync box is planned.
Critical values
A critical result cannot be verified until the phone call to the doctor is logged.
Quality records
Non-conformance log, instrument calibration and maintenance due dates, external quality assessment with SDI, and send-out manifests.
AI comment draft
The offline AI drafts an interpretive comment on abnormal results for the pathologist to edit and sign.

- Verify your doctors. Upload the registration certificate; signing prescriptions and discharge papers unlocks after approval.
- Add computers with Sync OS when you need several desks (front desk, doctors, wards, lab) on the same records.

Can it connect to our analysers?
Today it imports results from ASTM E1394 files or CSV exports, matched by sample ID. A live serial or network link through the MedDroid Sync box is planned.
Are the reference ranges ready to use?
The catalogue has typical ranges as a start. Every lab must check and set its own ranges before use.
Does it cover histopathology?
Not yet. Histopathology and cytology are not built.
How much does MedDroid cost?
The Community Edition is free forever and includes all 23 MedDroid apps (14 hospital and clinic systems + 9 add-on apps). Paid editions (Clinic Pro, Pro Workstation, Hospital Enterprise) add online services and support; current prices are on the pricing page. Founding 30 hospitals pay nothing to sign up and get medical equipment worth ₹10–50 lakh, free, under a written agreement.
