E-Discharge, births and deaths

- Verify your doctors. Upload the registration certificate; signing prescriptions and discharge papers unlocks after approval.

Questions
Does MedDroid work as a complete hospital management system?
Yes. MedDroid Providers covers OPD, IPD and wards, emergency and MLC, front desk, lab, radiology, PACS, pharmacy, OT, billing and claims, and hospital ERP. The Hospital section works on one computer by itself; MedDroid Sync OS shares the same records between several computers (front desk, doctors, wards, lab).
Where are patient records stored?
In an encrypted database on your own computer (the key stays in the operating system’s credential store). With Sync OS, a box in your hospital holds the shared records for your other computers. Patient data is never sold or used for ads.
Is it connected to ABDM?
ABHA numbers can be captured from the EMR and scanned from ABHA cards at the front desk. ABDM record sharing is built and switches on once the National Health Authority approves MedDroid’s integration, which is pending.
How much does MedDroid cost?
The Community Edition is free forever and includes all 23 MedDroid apps (14 hospital and clinic systems + 9 add-on apps). Paid editions (Clinic Pro, Pro Workstation, Hospital Enterprise) add online services and support; current prices are on the pricing page. Founding 30 hospitals pay nothing to sign up and get medical equipment worth ₹10–50 lakh, free, under a written agreement.
