NMC note. Keep it factual: name, degrees, registration, speciality, address, hours, fee and contact. No patient testimonials, no “best”, “top” or “expert” claims, no guaranteed results or offers. The preview removes such words and tells you which ones.

Runs only in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to MedDroid or saved: close the page and it is gone.

Publish this as your MedDroid TeleConnect profile (free)

TeleConnect gives you a public profile link (medicalandroid.com/d/your-name) where patients follow you, book video consults in your own slots, fill a pre-consult form and get your e-prescription and summary. Upload your registration certificate in Doctor verification to unlock signing prescriptions.

What to put on a doctor’s profile

Patients decide in a few seconds whether a profile is trustworthy. The facts that matter most are the ones they can check: your full name, degrees, registration number and council, speciality, clinic address, consulting hours, languages you speak, fee and how to reach you.

Write qualifications exactly as on your degree and registration certificate (for example “MBBS, MD (Paediatrics)”). Put the registration number with its council so a patient or a pharmacist can verify it on the NMC Indian Medical Register.

NMC rules in plain words

  • Share facts, not praise: no “best”, “No. 1”, “top”, “expert”, “renowned” or “guaranteed”.
  • No patient testimonials, before/after photos or ratings on your own card.
  • No offers, discounts or paid patient-solicitation.
  • Use only qualifications you actually hold and registration details that are current.

Rules change; check the current NMC and State Medical Council guidance before you print.

How to use the card and QR code

  1. Print the A4 sheet on 300 gsm card and cut along the dashed lines (85 × 55 mm, standard visiting-card size).
  2. Put the profile card image on your clinic’s Google Business Profile and WhatsApp Business profile so the hours and fee match everywhere.
  3. Stick the QR at reception: patients scan it to start a WhatsApp chat or open your MedDroid profile to book.
  4. Test the QR with two different phones before printing in bulk.

Questions

Is this doctor profile builder free?

Yes. It is free with no sign-up. It runs entirely in your browser: your details and photo are not uploaded or saved anywhere.

Can doctors in India advertise on a visiting card?

Doctors may share factual details such as name, qualifications, registration number, speciality, address, timings, fee and contact. NMC and State Medical Council conduct rules restrict self-praise, testimonials and soliciting patients, so the builder flags words like “best” and “expert”.

What does the QR code open?

Either a WhatsApp chat with your number and a ready booking message (wa.me link), or your MedDroid TeleConnect profile link if you enter it. Nothing is booked automatically; you or your staff confirm.

How do I get a MedDroid profile link?

Create a free MedDroid Providers account and open TeleConnect. You choose your link (medicalandroid.com/d/your-name), set your consulting hours and patients can follow you and book.
