MedDroid Connectors: EHRs, ABDM and health devices
Connectors bring a patient's data from the systems a clinic or a family already uses into MedDroid, so clinical decision support, the pharmacy and the AI work on the real record.
Hospital record systems (FHIR)
- FHIR R4 import: Epic, Cerner/Oracle, HAPI and any FHIR R4 system: problems, allergies, medicines, labs and vitals into the MedDroid Providers EMR
- Write back: CDSS alerts, notes and lab results sent back into the EHR, with an offline outbox that retries
- SMART on FHIR launch: open MedDroid from inside the EHR with the patient already loaded, no extra login
Data goes straight from the EHR to the clinic's own computer. FHIR R4 works today with open test servers; for a live hospital EHR, its IT team registers MedDroid as a SMART app once.
India: ABDM and ABHA
ABHA capture and verification in the EMR, with ABDM-format (FHIR) records ready; live record exchange after NHA registration.
Documents and devices
- Gmail and Google Drive: lab reports, prescriptions and appointment emails, read with a one-time secure sign-in; only medical items are read
- Health devices: Bluetooth BP monitors, glucometers, pulse oximeters, scales and thermometers, and the Wearables Connect app for smartwatches and rings
- For device makers: the MedDroid Sync SDK (embedded C, Python, Node) or the Sync chip publishes readings to the clinic's Sync box over Wi-Fi

MedDroid gives educational information and drafts for clinicians to check. It is not a diagnosis and does not replace a doctor. In an emergency, call 112.
